Playing Gooey Night Shift

Open the game at the prototype link. It runs in your web browser; there is nothing to install and no account to create.
On a phone, hold it upright. If you turn it sideways the game pauses until you turn it back.
On a computer, drag to move, press Space to dash, E to build and Escape to pause.
Keep the tab open while you play. Closing it mid-shift is safe; your progress is saved as you go.

Progress (coins, outfits, upgrades, your current shift and your sound and motion settings) is saved only in the browser on the device you play on. We do not have a copy.
Progress does not move between devices or browsers.
Clearing your browser's website data, or playing in a private or incognito window, will erase it, and we cannot restore it.
The game has a reset option for a damaged save. It tells you exactly what it will keep and what it will clear before it does anything.

Everything in the game is earned with in-game coins. There are no real-money purchases, ads or subscriptions in the prototype.
